Hi there, everyone. So it's been over a month since I've updated the game and I want to say thank you to everyone for playing the game. I know it's just the prologue, but it was very heartwarming to see all the feedback (and funny to see some of the collection names). Now for the most important matter: Some of you may have noticed that I was switching the game from Harlowe to SugarCube, and it's taking far longer than I expected it to. So I wanted to ask, would you prefer Chapter 1 to come out with Harlowe for a quicker release or would you want to wait for Chapter 1 (and the rest of the game) to be released with SugarCube? If there's not any responses or like a tie, I suppose I'll use my own discretion, but I think it's more important to hear what you guys would want. Thanks again, everyone!

Ah, this may seem like a regular thing, but I appreciate your words a lot. It encourages me a lot that people are so understanding and kind, so although you say there's no need, thank you again.
Hahah, oh I get it. I know how hard it can be to keep going, and writer's block can strike you down easily if you don't have any people to support you. I know we are basically strangers, but it doesn't mean I can't sincerely root for you. So I'm happy to hear my words actually encourage you.~
Support is always super important and I'm extremely grateful for all that I've been shown here! Maybe one day-hopefully- I can build a community for this game so I don't feel like a stranger to everyone :)
I'm willing to wait for SugarCube, since it's what you'll be using going forward. True, I'm eagerly anticipating further gameplay, but it's your project and you're the one doing all the hard work; we're just the lucky players who get to reap the benefits! You didn't mention how much longer a SugarCube update would take, compared to a this-week update in Harlowe, but either way, exercising a little patience won't kill me!
Thank you for your opinion and patience! Honestly, the reason I asked was because I didn't want anyone to think I abandoned the project when in reality, I'm just struggling with switching the systems. I can't really estimate the SugarCube release because I'm not well versed in coding, especially SugarCube and I can't predict what issues will pop up, then fixing the issues require some research on my part. Although I'm the one working on this, I like to hear your opinions because seeing people enjoy what I make is one of the biggest payoffs to me :)
